We're working away and still making little tweaks, but for the most part all the designs are frozen and we hope to be putting our stamp of approval on samples and the like in the coming weeks. We would also like to announce that we've partnered with Backerkit for our surveys and pre-orders. We've found that they do a wonderful job of streamlining the survey and checkout process to make the final delivery of the Stompump to all of you smoother and easier!

Protyping & New Frame-Dock Feature!($60k achieved!)

First off, we hit $60K in funding this weekend! Woo. hoo. ! Thank you all so much for the trust and backing. Now on to the update...

All in the name of perfecting the Stompump. We're so excited for the current success of our campaign, we're not only pushing hard to get this done as quickly as possible but we're taking the time to look at all aspects of the Stompump so that we can maximize it's utility and also make the highest quality product we could possibly deliver!

In our last update you saw that we punched out the maximum PSI to 90. Well, we've been working on the Frame-Dock. We've had a good amount of feedback suggesting a universal mounting option, not just for the bottle cage bosses. Well, we've included a system in the Frame-Dock that enables mounting with zip ties to virtually any surface. We've also added rubber pads to the Frame-Dock for grip as well as to protect the surface it's mounted to.

As we're a full service prototyping facility we have some awesome capabilities... we've created some molds for prototyping the pads that have proven very worthy in choosing the durometer and shape of the pads. This is going to accelerate our production process as the likelyhood of mold modification later on will be much lower.

The soft rubber pads can be used when bolting the Frame-Dock to your bottle cage bosses or when mounting with zip ties. They protect your frame as well as help keep the Dock from moving around once installed.

Of course, the ability to mount the Frame-Dock any where makes the Stompump more useful and mobile for other applications, not just for on the bike. Also, you don't have to sacrifice a water bottle to mount it!

I would like to add another note: Our friends over at Knog(you may have heard of them) launched a Kickstarter campaign just over a week ago for their Bandicoot headlamp. It's very cool. Give it a look. Bandicoot

Here's a little unlocked reward for you all. As mentioned at the campaign launch, we're unlocking Hose Colors! Simply choose one of the three rewards that has the Hose Color Option. You can let us know which color you prefer during our Survey once the campaign has closed, Red, Blue, Green, Purple or Yellow. We'll include a black hose too, so you can always switch back. See the GIF at the bottom of the page that shows how easy our Push-to-Connect fittings work.
